"Budapest Zoo displays. Some of the Budapest Zoo's most noticeable displays include the African savanna, the Arctic area and the wetland habitats. The Arctic area is home to polar bears and sea lions; this is one of the more recent exhibits at the zoo. The zoo also has two averies: the Papuan Avery and the Parrot Haven. If you're interested in seeing some monkeys, the zoo features over two hundred primates of all kinds in the world of apes. There's a butterfly garden, full of various kinds of colorful butterflies, and the palm tree house and aquarium is home to lush tropical plants, orchids, birds and reptiles, and exotic fishes. You can even see native Hungarian farm animals, including swallow belly woolly pigs, bold-necked hens, and a hukle horse. It's Old Macdonald, Hungarian style. The zoo also hosts musical concerts during its summer season. For a list of this season's concerts, go online to zoobudapest.com."
