"What we are going to do is we are going to turn this handle away from ourselves and away from the front and we are going to add our broccoli and we are going to make sure that it is pressed all the way down. We are going to do the same thing with our potatoes. We are going to put them in and also to make them cook faster we are going to cut the bigger ones into quarters. This will make them cook faster and make it easier for us to mash. Alright now we are going to go ahead and we are going to mince four garlic cloves. Again the garlic will run up the side of the knife but that's alright. After we are done cutting each individual clove we will go back and cut them altogether. So when we are done cutting our garlic we are going to take some red onion and we are just going to take one ring of red onion, take off the skin, and then we'll dice that as well. You are going to want to have about a little bit more than a tablespoon."
