"Hi this is Sean Hobson and what we are talking about right now is how to become a good fundamental ball handler. One thing we want to talk about right now in order for you to be a good fundamental ball handler not only do you have to be able to dribble good but you also have to be able to set up the defender. So what we are going to talk about we are going to show you a couple different moves right here of how to set up a defender. What we mean by that is if it's a guy that likes to play tough and play up on you defensively you've got to be able to get him to go hard in one direction. So what we are going to start with now first of all is a cross over dribble in which we want him to take me hard to the right side and get that defender to really fight hard. If you know that your defender will try to go for the steal every time you can get them to shift hard to one side or the other and then you can cross it back over and it works just the same to the left side. If you are coming out to the left side he wants to get me going hard to one side and then come back. Also you can do the same thing with using the between the legs move or if you are penetrating the middle you can come in and get the guy to go hard to one side, cross it over, and then you can finish it on the other side. So the one thing that is going to make you really a good ball handler is to be able to set up the defender to make it easier on you. If you don't set up your defender it is going to cause you a little bit of trouble when you are ball handling and you're going to get the ball stolen from you eventually. So learn your defenders and learn how to set those guys up. It's going to make it a lot easier on you."
