"Losing interest in finance is not a very good thing, and losing interest overall is a really bad thing. So the question is how to get a girl back? This is Dr. Paul, author of "Boomer Girls, a Boomer Woman's Guide to Men and Dating" and host of Ask Dr. Paul. So you've got to get a girl back. You must have had some form of disinterest because remember, the opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. Now number one on your hit list to get her back is to show genuine interest. You can't go into it and be a doormat. You have to go into it as showing genuine interest. Don't be indifferent, and whatever happens, please listen carefully. When you finally say, "let's go to lunch or let's go for coffee after work", don't go for the drink thing, okay. It might work, it might not and you're taking a risk. Let her know that you're sincere. You're not interested in getting her drunk. That's not the point. You really want her back sincerely, so you have salad you have coffee, whatever, at a restaurant, a public place, nice place, not overly nice but nice, and then you look her in the eye. Now when this really attractive woman walks by and you're with her and you're trying to get her back, don't do what you did before, and that's probably why you lost her, is like bad idea.
