"Grandma probably did a great job when she would hook a rug but how do you hook a guy with body language? This is Dr. Paul, author of "Boomer girls, a Boomer Woman's Guide to Dating" and host of "Ask Dr. Paul". I have had this question come up on the air when women have called in and I have had suggestions from other women. One of the interesting ways in which body language occurs is to do a take away. Look at a person you smile, it is a flirting thing of course and then you look away as if you have no interest. Why she acted as if she was interested with me in the first place, what is going on? You have become a challenge and then you look again and again he gets that reinforcement that you are interested and then you look away. After a while he is going to come over and say hi my name is Joe, what's your name? I notice you have got a nice smile, etc. etc. so that is the way you use body language to "hook" a man to respond to you. Body language is 90% of our communication. The verbal language is only 10%. See what you do speaks louder than what you say. This is Dr. Paul, may your fantasies of today be your realities of tomorrow."
