"In this segment we're going to cover removing interior molding part two. There's one other interior item and that would be the threshold. And the threshold is the, the wood, aluminum, or whatever they use to provide a surface for the entrance way. This flooring system is one of the floating type, Pergo or other manufacturers would develop it. So this threshold that's in here is anchored on a track. Now these can be really difficult to get out without damaging them, and they're also kind of expensive in comparison to what a standard wood piece would cost you of that dimensions. So we're going to leave this in tact and see if we can remove the door to the outside of the frame without damaging this, and hopefully we can leave it right in place. If my measurements are correct our alignment should work out good and we can avoid damaging this or having to buy this expensive piece of Pergo. So please watch our next segment on removing the fasteners, whether it be a nail, or a screw device that's holding on the flange, or screwed to the jam itself. The next step is removing the fasteners that are holding the door."
