"Today I'm going to demonstrate how to make a Hair Raiser. Now we're going to build this cocktail in our sixteen ounce mixing glass, so we're going to start by adding ice. Next we're going to combine our two main ingredients which is going to be a hundred proof vodka and rock and rye. So, we're going to add three parts to one part or an ounce and a half to half an ounce, so with our vodka, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, and eight, only 'cause my pour got stuck up a little bit, it happens on occasion. And then like I said a half an ounce to three-quarters of an ounce of our rock and rye, so one, two, and three. Now if you don't have rock and rye, a standard Canadian blend of whiskey will substitute just fine. Now you're going to add in some lime juice to mute down and bring out the flavors a little bit. You're going to get your cocktail glass prepared and ready. And then you're going to combine and shake your ingredients, and you really want to shake well, 'cause the ice is going to help water down the drink a little bit, 'cause this is some really strong alcohol that we're using, so... once you've shaken, take your Hawthorne strainer, put it right over the top of your glass, and pour directly into your cocktail glass. Don't forget a mixing straw, put it around the side if you like, and that is your Hair Raiser. Enjoy."
