"Today I'm going to demonstrate how to make a Christmas shot. Now a Christmas shot consists of your melon liqueur, we're using Midori, it's a Japanese based product with a rice grain base. And a raspberry liqueur, we're using Chambord. Now the reason this shot gets its name is just because of the colors involved, you don't really see too many honeydew around the Christmas time period, but we're just going to roll with it. So we're going to the layer the shot in our shot glass, so you're going to want to get either a bar spoon ready or a cherry with a stem to help layer. So we're going to place our Chambord on the bottom here. We're going to fill our shot glass up halfway. Just like so. And you're going to get your Midori ready, your bar spoon, and you're going to pierce the very top of the Chambord with your spoon, you're going to pour your Midori right onto your bar spoon, creating a distinctive layer of green right above that red. Like so. Now, if it blends together sometimes, that's just what sometimes, you know when you're a full time, high volume bartender you don't necessarily always have time to do that, so just roll with it. Live your life like you make your drinks, on the fly. Enjoy."
