"I'm going to show you how to make a cocktail called a BVD. We're going to start off with some ice. Pour that into your glass, just like so, and then we're going to add in one ounce of light rum. And I'm using what's called a jigger. That's j-i-g-g-e-r to measure out my alcohol. It's really handy, it's got one ounce on this side, so now I'm going to add in one ounce of gin. And then it's a half ounce on the other side. Really handy tool to have. You can get it at a liquor store or a bar supply store. Next, I'm going to add one ounce of dry vermouth. And you want to keep this refrigerated. It's going to extend the shelf life of your vermouth and it's going to taste a lot better. Alright, go ahead and shake that up. Just a real gentle shake. You don't want to melt the ice into it too much. Go ahead and put your strainer right on top. Grab a cocktail glass, and you're going to pour this into your cocktail glass, just like so. Now, if you would like, you can also chill your cocktail glass first, just put some ice water in your cocktail glass, and while you're mixing your cocktail, it's chilling. Dump out the ice water, pour in your cocktail, and you're chilled, and good to go. Enjoy your BVD."
