"Hi, I'm Kim with Simply Beautiful in Austin, Texas. We're going to talk about how to use Aspirin to heal a pimple. I'll start this by saying that Aspirin's not going to heal a pimple. Aspirin will help reduce the swelling of a pimple which will reduce the redness and create an environment that it's going to be easier to heal the pimple. So what we're going to do is use our usual skin care regiment. We're going to cleanse and tone. Your cleanser should always be something's that right for your skin tones. So normal combination, oily or dry get your skin really clean then you're going to use a toner to set the stage for whatever comes next. A toner helps to reduce pore size and get through to all the left over dirt impurities that are on your skin, also the last of the cleanser. So your skin's going to feel really fresh and clean after you use your toner. I think toner is an essential part of a skin care, of good skin care. I've taken an Aspirin and I've crushed it into this bowl. I'm using a little bit of my toner, I've made a paste. And just on a little Q-tip, you can use your finger as well I'm just going to take a little bit of the Aspirin paste and put it on her skin. Lena doesn't have any break outs but we're just demonstrating. You can see the granules here but your skin with the toner is going to help absorb the Aspirin and the good properties of the Aspirin that will help reduce the swelling. So we're going to leave that on for 5 minutes. No more than that. And we're going to go back with our toner and get that off. That paste that we made should be maybe a thicker than this one so it really feels like a paste rather than just some granules on your skin. You might want to follow that up with a little dab of honey because honey does act as a natural antibiotic. And it's a great thing that most people have around their house. It's handy. Leave the honey on for or 10 minutes then wash that off with your usual cleanser. And that's one little trick to help heal a pimple with Aspirin."
