"IMovie is a registered trademark of Apple. I am in no way affiliated with Apple. Okay, in this clip we're going to show you how to add your selected video footage to your project. Probably the simplest way to do it is just to grab it by putting your cursor over the clip, you see it changes to a hand tool, and just dragging it into your project. Let's undo that. We can undo, as in most Mac programs, the same way, by using Command Z. The other way to add it to your project would be to use this tool button here on your tool bar, which is your Add Selection to Project button. We hit that. Here it is in our project. Let's undo that again, Command Z, or you can hit the E button on your keyboard. Now, once you have your clip added to your project, if you look at your source video, you see this orange line at the bottom of some of the video. This line indicates that this particular video is being used in your project, and once it's there, you can select the clip and move it around. You can drag it to any point in the project that you like, say if we want it in the beginning before the skyline shot, we just move it. Let's move the skyline clip back, and that's how you add a clip to your project."
