"Here are eighths occurring off the beat of six eight. So of course we have six eight happening under this between the bass and the snare. One, two, three, four, five, six. Now for the symbol pattern I'm thinking here one, two, three, four, five, six, one, two ,three, four, five, six, one, two, three, four, five, six, one, two, three, four, five, six. But I''m only playing the even numbers. One, two, three, four, five, six, one, two, three, four, five, six. Notice there's three strikes on the symbol between the bass and the snare."
