"Ok let's play six eight rock groove with quarter notes happening that starts off the beat. As in off the beat, one directly after. So we have two times going on here, we have quarter notes which is just simply counting out one , two, three, quarter notes. And then we have six eight time swaying between the bass drum and snare. One, two, three, four, five, six, one, two, three, four, five, six, one, two, three, one, two three, four, five, six. Ok so we are going to start this quarter note on the symbol off the beat, as in.. Two, three, four, five, six, two, three, four, five, six."
