"Our second rim click example is going to play a straight four on the snare drum except instead of playing it on the head we are going to play it as a rim click and that sounds like this. So again the most important thing don't be playing way down here or way up here. Find that spot and there is going to be different good sounds that you can get that are all going to be pretty fast sounding and you really want to make it so that you don't have to slam the stick down to get it to sound. If you are in the right spot it really should sound good. I'm playing really really softly here with my hand. I'm using almost no strength but the quality of the sound is good."
