"So sticking with this concept of playing the bass drum on the third triplet partial we are going to try that again but this time we'll only play on the first and fourth quarter notes. And it will sound like this. And here it is in the shuffle pattern. So make sure to keep your bass drum not burdened, you don't really want to be slamming it down, you don't want to be really pushing it into the head. You really just want to have a good sound where it rebounds off the head and it's just a very light sound."
