-
Step 1
Start by cutting a piece of rope any length you wish.
-
Step 2
Empty a water bottle of any size. A small dog, use a smaller bottle and a larger dog you can use a larger plastic bottle.
-
Step 3
Wash and remove the cap from the bottle. Poke a hole in the bottom of the bottle ( I forgot to mention that in the video)
-
Step 4
Tie the rope around the bottle neck securely. Thicker rope/string is more difficult to tie as you see in the video. The first time I did this I used a thinner rope instead of the thicker twine type rope.
-
Step 5
Tie a knot at the other end of the rope!
-
Step 6
Squish it and make lots of noise to get your dog's attention and let them have it! Have fun watching them play with their new toy.

on 1/24/2009 I thought that the plastic on the water bottles could cut their gums and that plastic pieces could be swallowed making it a dangerous toy. Is that true?

on 1/24/2009 I give the bottles to my dogs all the time to play with but I never thought to add a rope to it. I bet that would really amp up their fun! 5 stars
