How to perform the anti gravity quarter magic trick.

Before you start this trick take a tooth pick a break it into two pieces. Make one piece the size of a quarter.

Before you perform the trick conceal the tooth pick in one of your hands.

Now have some one give you a quarter. If they don't have one have a quarter in your pocket ready for the trick. Only use the quarter you have if no one else has one. It is more effective to use their quarter.

Now show the quarter to everyone to show it is a normal quarter.

Now take the toothpick in between your first finger and thumb.

Next take the quarter and slide it in between your first finger and your thumb. Say things like "Okay let's see if I can do this right.'' Look at the quarter like your are thinking over what you might do with it.

Assuming that you started with the toothpick in your left hand you are going to now place the quarter on top of your right hand, which is facing palm up. Put the quarter in the middle of your first and middle finger.

As you place the quarter on your palm slide the toothpick down in between your first and middle fingers. Slide it just enough so it does not show coming out underneath your hand!

Now really play it up and act like you are hold up the quarter with your mind as you SLOWLY let go of the quarter. Of course you are not holding it up with your mind, the quarter is propped up against the toothpick.

Now people might thing you are just really good at balancing the quarter on your palm, so as you have the quarter sitting up straight, bring your first and middle fingers apart very slowly and let the weight of the quarter bring the toothpick down. But very slowly. The slower the better.

That's it. After the quarter has hit your palm pick it up with your other hand and show it to everyone. As you do this conceal the toothpick by putting it into your pocket or just throw it on the ground somewhere where it won't be seen.
