How to Create a Wire Wrapped Heart for Jewelry

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Cut 2 inches of wire. Or you may use a head pin, as in this video, and snipped off the head of the pin. Bend wire at the very center and create a loop as shown in the video.

  2. Step 2

    Grip the tails just next to the loop you've just created and bend down to form the two top "bumps" of the heart. Cross tails over each other.

  3. Step 3

    Take one tail and create a loop at the bottom using your round nosed pliers as shown in the video. Cross remaining tail over loop and squeeze together with your pliers.

  4. Step 4

    Wrap remaining tail around at least twice around loop at bottom of the heart. Add a few links of beads to each end and you have a beautiful adornment to add to a necklace, bracelet, or pair of earrings!
