Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Book a flight to Halifax International Airport.

  2. Step 2

Rent a car. Nova Scotia is easy to drive around and the scenes are breathtaking. You will want to get out and take pictures, and admire the scene.

  3. Step 3

Visit the wharf. There are activities all the time (including a casino if you like to play), and great restaurants. The locals are wonderful. They make you feel right at home!

  4. Step 4

Consider visiting the 3 Churches of Mahoney Bay, Peggy's Cove, Anne of Green Gables residence, and Prince Edward's Island. I also visited the Memorial for Swiss Air Flight 111 where it crashed into the sea with 229 men and women on board.

  5. Step 5

The lobster is to die for! I did not come across a bad restaurant the entire week I was there.

on 8/4/2008 There is a great cruise you can take from Portland, ME to Nova Scotia. I have always wanted to go, but I could never figure out what I'd do when I got there. Thanks for this information. I'm going to revisit the cruise idea. *****
