"Hi, I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village and we are making our message in a bottle, our Christmas message in a bottle. So I went ahead and I painted it and as you can see it's a very light covering. I didn't want to paint it so that it was very opaque. I kind of like the glassy look, the stained glass look. Now I'm just gonna take my glue gun. Again be careful when you're working with a glue gun because it is hot and you don't want to burn yourself. So just be sure you don't touch the tip of the gun or the glue as it comes out. And I'm just gonna put some glue around the bottom rim of the bottle. Go ahead and squeeze it out all the way around, like that. And I've got paint all over my hand. So I don't know if you can see it but I do. Okay and then I'm just gonna take my little maribou and I'm gonna wrap it around and glue it on to there and some more glue there. I'm gonna put the rope there. Then I'm gonna trim that off and stick that on and as you can see that's very cute. It's a very cute little bottle and next we're gonna put a message in there. All you have to do is write whatever it is you're giving as a gift. If it's a massage or a day at the spa or an evening out to the movies, whatever it is. You write it on a nice piece of paper then you roll it up like this, you stick it in there and then you have a message in a bottle Christmas style."
