Making a Bottle for Recycled Gift Wrapping

"Hi. I'm Karina Fraley for expert village and we are making our little bottles so that we can put a secret Christmas message on there. Again, you just get your bottle, you wash it and then you get some paint. I'm gonna use green. You can use green or red or whatever color you want. And I'm using my little paint tray here. My little pallet. These are very inexpensive and they're very, they're very easy to find at craft stores. But if you don't have one you can just use a paper plate or aluminum foil to put your paint on. So you're just gonna put your paint like that. And mix it up a little. Get everything all mixed up right. And then just start. And the nice thing about glass is that it's glassy and so when you paint it it's actually going to be kind of transparent. So you're not gonna want to cover it completely with paint so that it's totally opaque. You're gonna wanna just give it a very light once over and it's gonna give it a kind of a stained glass look. And again you can use red, you can use whatever color you want. You can also use different colors. Get creative. It's very quick and easy. So I'm gonna go ahead. I'm gonna finish painting this and set it aside to dry for a minute and I'll see you at the next clip."
