"Hi, I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village and today I am showing you how to make a homemade envelope for your gift card. So we have gone ahead, we have chosen our paper and I cut out my paper. I am just going to trim this up a little bit here because I noticed I have a little bit of extra edging on there. And you want to cut them the same size, both of them. Then you are going to put them together like that and you are going to ahead a trim any little pieces that are sticking out. And then you are going to make sure that your gift card is going to fit in there and as you can see mine fits in there perfectly. Then you take your hole punch, and this actually has a smaller tip then a lot of hole punches. You can actually go to the craft store and buy a variety of different size hole punches. The big ones that you get at the office supply store, that are like three ring binder size, are a little bigger than I like to use for something like this. I like to make it a little more delicate and this is such a small piece paper that such a small surface, that I think a bog, a standard hole punch would be too big. So you are just going to go, you are going to put your two pieces of paper together and you are going to punch holes through the thicknesses of both and you can do how ever may you want. I think I am going to do about five for this particular one. Actually, I think I am going to do four. I am going to do four on each side, like that, just hold them together, two, three, four. And then I am going to do some along the bottom. Make sure that you don't punch too close to the edge because it will fall off. Next I am going to feed the ribbon through and then we will be done. We will be able to slip our gift card in there. So stick around and I will show you how in the next clip."
