"Now I'm going to reinstall a tire on this wheel or I could be reinstalling a different tire I just want to show you guys how to do it. First thing to check when you are putting a new tire back on this is what is called a rim stripe these are usually made out of rubber of cloth and you just you can see this is the valve hole here. You just want to spin the wheel around making sure that the rim strip is seated and there is not any spoke holes expose. You see if I pull it back there are some holes there that are driving in the rim where the spoke goes if those are expose they can puncture the tube we don't want that. So it looks like you know my rim strip is pretty well seated. So the next thing is make sure you put the tire on the way it is to rotate. This is bi-direction tire it could roll forward this way for best braking and corner traction cause you can tell cause this big knobs(my hand is the ground)they would dig in or if I wanted a better climbing traction I can turn it around the other way. This s the front wheel I'm going to put it on so these chevrons facing knobs these chevrons shape knobs are facing forward. So if this brakes your disc is always on the left side of the bike so I want to put it on this way. Another good tip and trick that you can remember is to put the hot patch of the tire over the valve hole. So my valve hole is right here and doing this always helps me find the valve very quickly on my tire which is handy because it enables me to more quickly change my tire like if I'm in a race situation of if I'm just in a hurry.
