Video Transcript

"Hi, my name is Shelby on behalf of Expert Village. I'm going to show you how to play fun games with preschoolers. In this segment I'm going to discuss how to play a game called match it. What you do is you get a bunch of little matching cards and you show the child the pictures on the cards. Then you have the child flip the cards over so you don't see the picture anymore and you jumbo all of the cards up so it gets all mixed. Then you say pick a card, you turn one over so you see it's cookies in a basket, then you turn another one over and you are basically trying to teach a concept of matching. You want them to look for another basket of cookies or a boy wearing a tee shirt, nope it's not the match then they find the match of the boy wearing the tee shirt. Then you flip more you find the cookies with the basket and the man with the cup."
