"Now our great variant, on the classic anchor bend is one that I'm going to demonstrate right now. It was published way back in the early twentieth century, unknown. And it?s really just a great hitch. So, if we look down here, you can see I've got my pose set up, and I've got my rope. And what I'm going to do is bring it over, and loop it once, and I'm going to loop it a second time. As I would with my normal anchor bend. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to take it, and just pull out a little more line here, because I'm going to need it. And I'm going to take it and I'm going to wrap it over my standing end, and through the hoop I've created. Creating a secondary hoop such as this. Now what I'm going to do, is I'm going to wrap it once again through that line. Creating a double knuckle right here. And I've got my two lines here, so I'm just going to pull these two tight. And oops, there we go. And there you go, this is a variant on the classic anchor bend."
