Video Transcript

"Hi! I'm Robin with trees-mom.com, and we're making a video today for Expert Village. We are doing a crocheted wire Gothic bracelet. The crochet hook that we're going to use is an N. It makes bigger loops in our bracelet than smaller hooks. The way that you hold a hook, if you have not crocheted before, is there's a little flat piece on the front. That's where you put your thumb and you wrap your fingers around it. The hook is pointed towards you. You're going to keep in this position the whole time that you're going to crochet your wire. You want to make sure the hook is always pointed towards you and that the crochet hook is horizontal to the floor and it's pretty even this way. I don't know if this is the exact way to hold a crochet hook, but this is the way it works for crocheting wire, because it's a lot different than crocheting yarn. Just make sure that you keep the hook towards you and that you hold on to it really well. "
