"Now a more secure way to secure your line to a hook or a ring would be to use 2 half hitches. Two half hitches have a lot better tension than a single half hitch. So what we're going to do is take our length of rope that we have here and you can see I have my rope here on my clamp. I'm just going to pull a little bit more out. Bring it over and I'm going to go ahead and create our single half hitch. Now I'm going to loop my rope around the same way; you see I have a clockwise turn here so I'm going to create another clockwise turn. I'll pull it in and there we go; a 2 half hitches. The more I pull on this, this rope is not going to let loose. So it's a nice secured hitch. So let's do this one more time. Unloop this, there we go. Just wrap it over, create our overhand knot or a half hitch, however you would like to think about it. As you can see I have a nice clockwise turn and I will do one more. Pull it tight and there we are a nice secure 2 half hitches."
