One of the most important things about internet dating is the photo you put on your site. And here are some of the dos of picking the internet photo. You want something that's a head shot. It shows your face in a clear easy way. You want it to be recognizable so that when you meet the person, they don't say, "But who is the person in that photo?" Never under estimate the power of a smile. A smiling face can get lots of people interested in meeting you. So try and give it your best smile, it's always a good idea. You want it to be preferably a headshot; something where you're dressed nice. You can either go to get a professional photo or just a snapshot will do. In that photo I have a big smile and I can't tell you how many people responded to it. What a great smile you have. So remember, a good smile will get you lots of people who are interested in meeting you. Also make sure that you're wearing something comfortable, that's not too over done or too underdone. You want to make it a picture that's close enough to see you, that's clear, that's bright. It doesn't matter if it's professionally taken or if it's a snapshot. But make it straight on and somebody who looks like you. It should be a picture that's current, at least within the last year preferably and that shows your personality. A good photo can make a difference in meeting the person of your dreams quickly. "
