"Hi, I'm Nathan Boehme writer and film director with Expert Village. In this series, it's all about copyrights. Why is it important for you to officially register for your creative work. I mean there is about a dozen ways you can document the date and time that your precious piece of art was born. So why be bothered with all the boring paper work. For starters, there are about a thousand different ways for forge the documented proof of authorship that you need to steal someones work which is probably how you got into this mess in the first place. Not to mention the fact that nobody in a courtroom is going to trust you based solely on your poor victimized puppy dog face. What you need is a paper trail one that travels from your creative work all the way back to you by the way of a partial or official establishment. You can break this concept down about half of dozen different ways and run it through a bunch of complicated arguments. But let's just keep it simple and say the end of the day if you are going to ever win a battle in the courtroom where your precious work of art is at stake, you need to have your work registered officially. That's what we are going to teach you how to do."
