"Hi, this is Mark Kneeskem on behalf of Expert Village and in this clip, I'm going to show you how to prepare your shirts and your stencil for the actual printing. You want to put newspaper inside the tee shirts that you're going to be screen printing on to keep the ink from going through to the back side. Also, you want to make sure you think about where your seams and buttons and such are so that you're not going to be ruining your design by trying to run over the seams or the buttons because they'll push up against your screen and cause the ink to squirt all over the place. You'll want to lay out your shirt carefully on the prepared surface, making sure there are no wrinkles because that's another way to for sure ruin your design. Next you're going to lay out your stencil onto the back of the shirt and if you have lettering or if you have, or if composition is directionally important, just remember that when you lay out your stencil, you want to make sure that the lettering is positioned right side up because then when you print it, it will read correctly on the shirt. And that is how you prepare your stencil and your shirt for screen printing"
