Staining Frame for Shadow Box Frame

"Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I will be showing you how to stain our picture frame. Now that our glass has been completely taped off we are ready to move forward to our staining process. Now I'm actually going to stain the inside of my picture frame first so then when I'm staining the outside I can actually have it sitting on some boards that would be going across the back and since nobody is going to see the back it doesn't matter how that's going to look. Now I'm going to be using a dark walnut color to stain my picture frame. This is a pretty dark color but it will match with our table that we've made our picture frame for. You want to make sure you get nice even coats of stain and then once the stain has sat you can go back and wipe it off. Now if you want it darker you can use multiple coats. If you want it lighter all you need to do is wipe it off just as soon as you put it down. Go ahead and continue this for the rest of the frame."
