"Hi! I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village, and we are making our yarn doll. So far, we have made the body and we've started on the arms. I'm going to show you now how to braid the arms so that they look like this little one here. You cut it at the bend, then you tie the top, and now you have this long section. Basically, you're going to divide this into 3 pieces, and you're going to braid it. The best way to do that is to use either a book or some sort of weight to just hold down the end of it. To braid, you just divide into 3 even sections like that. Then you're going to take one section with your right hand, one with the left, and then you're going to take the middle section up with the your right hand as well. To braid, you just start, just like that. Under, over. Most people know how to braid, but if you don't, this is how you do it. It's very simple. You just keep pulling so you don't get tangled at the bottom every time that you go under. Just pull out the bottom like that. Then you're going to stop about a half an inch from the bottom like last time. Like you tied the top end, you're going to tie this end as well about half an inch. I have a piece of yarn here. You just tie it around like that nice and tight so it doesn't untangle on you or unbraid on you. Pull it tight. A knot like that. Then you're going to go ahead and trim these edges again so that they're all nice and even like that. There you have your arms."
