"Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip I will be talking about our final sanding. Before we get ready to finish our picture frame we need to do our final sanding and to do this we're going to go over every surface and every edge and make sure that it is just right. Now you want to start by hitting every edge and making sure that it is rounded over just a little bit but not too much, because we still want it to look like it's a sharp edge. However, we round that over again so that if someone bumps it it's not going to chip off a chunk. Next we want to go along the sides of our picture frame. Now what we are primarily looking for is parts where the glue has dried and it's showing. The reason why we want to sand these parts off is because the stain will not soak into the glue and it's going to stick out like a sore thumb. So if you see any of these glue parts you want to make sure to sand them off really well. Lastly you want to go over your back piece and sand that down, you don't want to sand it too much cause you don't want to go through that vainer but you want to sand it enough that when you stain it you'll have a nice background to your picture frame."
