Video Transcript

"Hi! I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village, and we are making our yarn doll. Now that you've wrapped your yarn 50 times around your medium cardboard, you're going to just pull it off like that. You're going to pull it and you're going to cut at the bottom end with your scissors. Then you're going to open it. Make sure you cut through all of the layers. You're going to pull it tight like this, and take another piece of yarn about 6-8 inches. Half an inch from the top, you're going to tie your piece of string around like that to hold everything together. As you can see, it's going to make these little hands like that. Make sure it's nice and tight. Tie a knot. Then you're going to have a long section like this. Next, we're going to braid it. I'll show you how in the next clip."
