Summary: How to cut glass for a shadow box picture frame; learn all this and more in this free online arts and crafts video from a woodworking expert.
"Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip we will be cutting for our glass. Now although my inside measurements are 8x10, what I'm going to do is I'm going to cut a ridge around my sides and I'm actually going to have my glass sit in that ridge. Now when my frame is assembled you'll never be able to get the glass out. Now, since that glass is going to sit inside my frame my opening is 8 inches but I'm having my glass cut to 8 5/8 inches. My height to 10 5/8 inches so it'll stick inside of that frame just a little ways on each side. When I sit my sheet of glass onto my frame I see that it overhangs my frame and that's where it will go inside my frame once I make that cut. Now I've set up my saw to make my cut 3/8 of an inch deep and a 1/2 inch in from the front of my frame. Now you can slip that glass into your frame and see how it will look."

Good video series however your lack of following shop safety is alarming. Examples such as your fingers being WAY too close to or even over the blade during a slotted cut, no blade guards in place (no doubt for clarity's sake in the video), and lack of a feather boards or pushsticks are all noticable. I can only assume you are wearinf safety glasses.
It's obvious you know what you're doing; hopefully you are teaching shop safety in your classes. Viewers of this video should be made aware that safety features exist and should be followed.
