"Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip we will be rabbiting the back. On the back of our picture frame we're going to notch in a little bit of the wood which is called the rabbit. What we're going to do is place a piece of plywood as the backing for our picture frame and we want that to sit a little bit inside so that the back of our frame is completely flushed when we hang it on the wall. An easy way to make a rabbit using a table saw is to set the blade depth to 3/8 of an inch and set it as close as you can to the fence. We're going to make a few different passes to create a rabbit. If you take a look at our board once we've made our first pass, we have a rabbit that is an 1/8 of inch in because our blade is an 1/8 of an inch. I'm going to go ahead and make two more passes. Once you have cut all of your rabbits, you can go ahead and put your frame back together and see what that'll look like and everything seems to be looking pretty good so far."
