"Hi, this is Jon on behalf of Expert Village. In this video clip we will cutting our miters. On our diagram we see that each piece comes to a miter corner. This is more for ascetics then functionality. What we need to do is transfer these angled cut onto our pieces. Now, if you've done this before it's pretty easy. You just go ahead and make your diagonal marks wherever they need to go. If you haven't done this before, what you could do is actually take your piece and set it right beneath your drawing and then draw the lines the same way. So the line on my drawing is going this way, it's going to go that way on my board. This one is going this way, it's going to go that way on my board. The first thing we need to do is set our miter saw to 45 because these will be a 45 degree angle. Next you can go ahead and make your cuts using your miter saw. Now, you want to make sure not to saw too much, it's better to make 3 or 4 cuts than to take one cut that takes off way too much and then we have to make a new piece. Once you've done your miter cuts you can go ahead and put your pieces together and this will kind of give you an idea of how our frame is suppose to look."
