Video Transcript

"Hi, my name is Lanie McCormick I'm a fine art photographer in Austin, Texas. I'm here to show you how to set up a dark room on behalf of Expert Village. Once you have lightproofed your room, you are going to think about mapping out your space. You are going to have two separated spaces; one wet which is going to house your chemical baths and storage possibly somewhere around that where you are going to house your chemicals, tanks, reels for developing any film. The other side you are going to have your dry space it's going to house your enlarger, timer, burning and dodging tools any frames and also your paper will be over in the dry area. Organization is the key in the dark room setting up in the light helps a whole lot go ahead and have your chemicals ready, tongs and have that setup before you turn off the lights out and begin to work."
