"Hi, this is Sean Hobson, for Expert Village. What we want to talk about in this segment is how to keep our running backs and wide receivers from being tackled. Sometimes, you may get hit, sometimes you may even get wrapped up but what we we're trying to do is, if you can't avoid the tackle then you're going to try to get as much positive yardage as you can. Sometimes you're going to take a hit but you're going to get out of it. That's what we want to talk about now. We're going to talk about the hit and spin move. A lot of times running backs will use this but I've seen wide receivers use this very effectively as well. As our running back is approaching the defender we want him to get down low, initiate contact first, and then we want him to spin off the tackler before the tackler can make the wrap up. If he hits him hard enough he's going to send the defender off of his balance and he'll be able to spin out of it. The key is to initiate the contact first, keep good balance under yourself before you spin. This is what it looks like in full speed (video demo). He's going to hit, he spins, and then he's looking up field. Hopefully he's getting all the way out of the tackle and he's going to run for a touchdown. That's what we're looking for."
