"Hi, I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you some tips and techniques I use to place a tail extension on your horses tail. The couple of things that you want to make sure that you don't do when you purchasing and ting in a tail extension. Of course you want to make sure that you don't purchase one that is the wrong color cause it is going to be really obvious that you have a tail extension tied in your horse tail. You also want to make sure that you don't tie into low. If you have a tail extension that is tied in to low this could cause your horse to step on it and rip it out when you're backing out your horse. Which could cause your horse to loose the large chunk of its tail. It is also really embarrassing if your in a show ring type of situation. You also want to make sure that it is tied in nice and tight. If you have your extension tied in to loosely and it falls out while you are in the show ring that is going to be really embarrassing. It is also going to be kind of scary so the horse is falling behind you. So you want to make sure that it is tied in there nice and tight. If your not exactly sure how to do it make sure you always as for the assistance of a professional before you go into the show ring. Or have someone check it before you go into the show ring and make sure that it is tied nice and tight. Another thing that you want to make sure that you do is make sure that you don't leave your horse tail unblend it. That would make it look really slopping and really unprofessional, it would just make it look more obvious that the extension is in there. Lastly, make sure that you don't leave the tail extension showing. There is nothing worst then your riding around the show ring and you see somebody with there tail extension sticking out from the horses tail. So just make sure that everything is really nice and blended. You would have a really nice full flowing tail."
