"Hi, I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you some tips and techniques I use to place a tail extension on your horses tail. So now that we have our horses tail section what we are going to do is we are going to take a small section of tail and make a braid. So we are going to braid this down, make a really nice thin tight braid on the back of her tail. Make sure we are not getting any excess pieces of tail tied in. We just going to braid it down about half way down the length of the tail. You don't' want to braid it down to far. You just enough there that you would be able to tie the extension into. So we would go down a few more. That is about long enough right there. A few inches of length is more then enough. We are going to secure it with a band to keep it in, keep it nice and tight. Make sure that we wrap this around enough times so our braid is not going to get loose on us. So that is how you want to tie in and do your first braid before you do your first extension."
