"Hi, I'm Kelli on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you some tips and techniques I use to place a tail extension on your horses tail. So the next thing we are going to do is we are going to comb out her tail. So again I'm going to take a little bit of my detangling solution and I'm going to work this through her tail. Just to make it a little bit easier to comb out. Another thing you want to note when you are working on your horses tail or horses hind in. You always want to stand off to the side, you never want to stand directly behind where it would be easier if she did decide to kick out or if she was spooked by something that she would hit you with her hind feet. So you always want to make sure that you are kind of standing off to the side and not directly behind her hind in. So again we are just going to work in really small sections to get all the tangles out. Work from the end, up we don't want to ripe out a lot of hair out of her tail. We also don't want to have a lot of tangles cause when we do tie in the extension it would be really difficult if we have a lot of tangles to go through. So we just going to comb this out, get it free of any tangles, get any debris that might be in her tail such as saw dust or hay. Go ahead and loosen any of that up. We would get it prepare for the extension to be ready to be tied in. Using a detangling solution makes this so much easier to do. Especially if you are doing it on a more frequent bases keeping a detangular in your horses tail or when you shampoo your horses tail. If you condition it, it would make it so much easier for you to comb out. Cause horses hair is really thick and really coarse so it tangles really easily. So this is how you would want to comb out your horses tail."
