"On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Nicole, and I'm here to tell you about iguanas. Another hazard for your iguana is children or pets. Children tend to like to put things in the cage with the iguanas, which are not safe. They can be swallowed, or they can hurt the iguana superficially. So you want to make sure that the children realize that this is not a pet to be played with too much. You want to make sure that they don't put anything in the cage, and you also want to make sure that your children are safe from the iguana because he can cause quite a bit of damage with his tail and nails. They also bite quite hard, so that's something you want to be careful about. Pets, cats are very curious about lizards, always. And this something that you want to make sure is taken care of. You don't want to make, you don't want your animals to be able to reach your lizard at any point, for the cats' safety, and for the iguanas' safety. Dogs are also a hazard to your iguana, one bite can cause a lot of damage, but an iguana can also harm your dog. It depends on the size of your dog, and the size of your iguana. But they can do some horrible damage to each other. You want to make sure you keep these pets separated, even if they appear to be friends. Even if they appear to be okay with each other, you don't ever want to trust them in each other's presence unsupervised. "
