I'm Nichole, here to tell you about Iguanas. Iguanas are very large lizards that make really good pets. They are very large, getting up to two and a half to three feet in body length. And no lizard can match up to their appearance, they are little dragons and fun pets. Now some Iguanas make great pets, some are a little shy and more timid. But overall, Iguanas tend to be very good pets as long as they are properly handled. Most Iguanas are from El Salvador, there are only two species, one is from the West Indies, and then the second Iguana classified as the green Iguana. There are settle differences between the green Iguanas, but not enough to divide into two sub-species. So there is one species of green Iguanas available from El Salvador found in pet stores, the other species is the West Indies Iguanas that are not pets, since nobody is allowed to capture them and breed them for sale.
