Overcoming Fears

"Hi! I'm Brenda F. Dixon, the owner of Life Help Now in Nashville, Tennessee, and we're here today with Expert Village. How to overcome fear is our topic. I've given you several different tips on handling this topic. One of the things that I'd like for you to know is the stronger that you get in overcoming a negative thought with a positive thought, the stronger you will get in overcoming fear. The greatest enemy is doubt, worry, being timid, and apprehensive. These are things that will pull you into that fear mode of thinking. To counter it, you must counter it with courage, strength, and boldness. Counter it with the opposite of what you are doing. You can do this. It's a deliberate thing that you do, and you can do this deliberately. I want you to be so bold, that when this fear comes on you, you just say no. Because you have said no, it will leave you alone. Your mind will do what you tell it to do. If you embrace fear, it'll stay on you. If you tell it no, it leaves. That's the most important message that I want you to get out of all these tips that I have given you. You are the one that can tell yourself how to behave. You can be empowered in such a way that you don't have to be trapped. I would say to you to overcome fear, think the way that you want to behave. Speak the way that you want to behave, and fear has to leave you if you speak courage."
