"Hi! I'm Brenda F. Dixon, the owner of Life Help Now in Nashville, Tennessee, and we're here today with Expert Village. Our topic today is how to overcome fear. I want to give you a definition of fear. It is something that will cause an agitation or an apprehension, which actually means that danger is near by. It will actually cause dread and agitation, apprehension. The body gets really tense. It causes a kind of a panic. This is a disease. The word disease actually describes it very well. Dis-ease. What we're going to talk about is how to overcome fear. I’m going to give you a couple of pointers on what to do actually. Some of these things can be well taken care of in the counseling room, but actually some of these things can be taken of in the privacy of a person's home. It's important to know some of these tips, and actually I'm going to give you some of these tips to help you to know a little bit more about how to overcome fear. "
