"Hi, I'm Chemin Alldredge. I'm a third degree Black Belt and I'm here with Expert Village. Today we'll be going over advanced self defense. Alright another drill we're going to go over is the sleeper hold. This is a very common one. Your opponent is going to come behind you and grab behind your throat. You have to remember always stay calm. You have to think about what's free. The only thing he's got really is my neck. My hands are free and my feet are free. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to elbow into the side. I could also kick up into the groin. I can also step on his foot. So he doesn't choke me anymore, I'm going to take my chin and I?m going to tuck it underneath so he doesn't block my airway anymore. After I've weakened his grip of cutting up into the groin or elbowing to the side, if he hasn't let go by then, make sure to tuck your chin in always, so they're not choking you any further. You want to go ahead and turn it right into the pit of their elbow. Right there. And then you're going to take your right hand and you're going to roll it over, coming out, holding the arm still secure, taking your foot and doing a sidekick or doing a kick into the groin. Alright in a faster motion, I'm going to hit to the side, stomp, roll, tuck my chin in, do a KIA, KIA! KIA! KIA!"
