"Hi, I'm Chemin Alldredge I'm a 3rd degree Black Belt and I'm here with Expert Village. Today we'll be going over advanced self defense. Another great object to use is a magazine, magazines, a paper or something, a newspaper also works. If you take your magazine and you roll it nice and tight it's going to become a stronger weapon to use. You'll have lots of weapons that you can use and now you have a stronger object. So, if my opponent is coming towards me I can take this magazine and I can hit him right into the stomach, I can hit him right into the groin. I can also hit striking across the face or striking across into the neck area. Your magazine is something very sharp so if it's nice and tight and rolled, you can hit also to the side of the stomach and you can also hit toward the knee cap. You can also take it and jab it right into them. Especially, if they're coming or running into you, it's a great way to put right out there. You can also hit right into the throat area. So, if your opponent grabs you on the shoulder or the wrist, you can also take your magazine and you can strike right into the arm area. I would hit right into this arm area right underneath the elbow. Alright, so if my opponent grabs me on the wrist, I'm going to take my hand, I'm going to strike right here and then I'm going to take my other hand and I'm going to roll the arm up, pushing him away."
