"Hi, this is Francisco Cales from Tampa, FL. with Pool Inspectors in behalf of Expert Village. Are theme today is basic spa maintenance. At this time we are going to use a tailored test kit to test the PH of the spa. In a tailored test kit, which is color coordinated, if we look for PH we will see it is the redish or pinkish labels on the box. We are going to go ahead and take our applicator valves take it to the water 12 to 16 inches under the water line, pop it out get it to the indicator right on the side of the valve. At this time we are going to take out R004 which is our PH indicator solution. As it says here in the tailored test kit we are going to add five drops to our larger valve. Cover it up, shake it up a little bit, For the tailored test kit, what it allows us to do is read the PH from .70 to 8.0, based on the shade that it is indicating. At this moment I am reading a 7.8 PH."
