"Hi! I'm Chemin Alldredge. I'm the 3rd degree Black Belt and I'm here with Expert Village. Today we'll be going over advanced self defense. A second great hand maneuver is a knife hand strike. You're going to take all 5 of your fingers, put them together, and then curl your right in. A knife hand strike is great. You can come up to the groin. You can come down into the neck. You can jab right into the stomach or that dip right underneath your ribs. You can also go right into the other side. You can also use double, taking both hands and coming down. If my opponent comes and grabs a double lapel, I can take my knife hand strike and I can hit straight to the stomach. If I'm smaller or shorter, I can hit right up into the groin. I can also hit right into the neck, or I can take both hand and come down. Instead of coming down with the thumbs, put your thumbs on the upward position and come in straight down. Also, another great way is if you're at eye level, you can hit straight to the throat. If you have fingernails, they're going to hurt a little bit more. You can go there, or you can go straight to the eyes. You can even pull with your knife hand strike. Pull your fingers backwards and take your thumbs going to the side of the face and jabbing your thumbs into their eyes."
